5 Location Ideas for your Brand Photoshoot
“What locations do you recommend for brand photoshoots?”
This is one of my most frequently asked questions so today I’m breaking it down for you! But why is finding the right location so important?
Choosing the right location for your photoshoot is important because you want it to reflect your personal style and brand. Every element in your brand photoshoot should align with your aesthetic and brand identity, including the location.
Here are my 5 location ideas:
Studio Space
Rented studio spaces are one of my favorite location options for brand photoshoots. They have plenty of open space and a variety of backdrops to choose from. I always recommend finding a studio with plenty of windows, so you have lots of natural light to work with. I’m also a huge fan of studios with white walls! It’s a great neutral backdrop and helps bring contrast to your photos — not to mention, a super chic and feminine look!

Home Studio List
Home Studio List is an amazing website with styled homes available to rent by the hour for photoshoots and creative productions. They have homes available in any state. This is a great option if you want a more homey feel for your brand images, but don’t want to take the photos in your own home.
At-home Shoot
If you do have a wonderfully styled home, or if this is the place that feels most authentic to your brand, I think it’s a great location option.
There’s something so special about home photoshoots. It’s the place where you can be your most genuine self, show your personal style, and share your daily routine. Maybe you love to make coffee in the morning or to be snuggled up on the sofa with your laptop. There’s no doubt your clients would love to see you in your everyday element!
Park/outdoor area
Parks are a beautiful location option if you’re looking for bright, natural lighting and greenery in your brand images. Health, wellness, and fitness professionals, this is a great location option for your branding shoot!
Coffee shop or a local restaurant
If you’re anything like me, working at a coffee shop is the highlight of my week! It’s a great way to get out of the house and sip your favorite coffee drink (I’m an iced turtle mocha girl). If you have a favorite coffee or food spot, it’s worth checking with the owner to see if you can snap a few pictures of you sipping your coffee or working on your laptop!
