What is your photography style?
I focus on capturing creative, authentic images that reflect your personality. My editing is done in Lightroom Classic, where I choose a preset and tones that best fit the aesthetic of your shoot. I tend to lean toward a cooler, brighter style, while keeping retouching minimal so your photos feel natural and true to life. I primarily work with natural light, but I also love incorporating flash for a bold, dynamic touch. You can explore my portfolio to see if my style matches your vision.
Will you help me choose a location, outfits, and props for my session?
Yes, absolutely! Once you book, I’ll send you my Brand Photoshoot Guide, full of inspiration, links, and tips for locations, outfits, and props. We’ll also schedule a strategy call to walk through your ideas and make sure every detail aligns perfectly with your vision. While I’ll guide you on the best types of locations, you’ll be responsible for booking the location, as it isn’t included in the photoshoot package.
What can I expect during my photo session?
During your session, we’ll start by getting you comfortable in front of the camera—think of it as warming up while your favorite music plays in the background. I’ll guide you through poses, showing you exactly how to stand, move, and position your hands so everything feels natural. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and because we plan every detail ahead of time, your session flows smoothly and stress-free. My goal is to help you feel confident, at ease, and to genuinely enjoy the experience while capturing beautiful, authentic photos.
Can I bring a business partner, team member, or friend with me to my session?
Yes, if the location allows it. You’re welcome to bring someone along, whether it’s to assist, cheer you on, or capture behind-the-scenes footage. If you’d like them included in any of the photos, just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. If you are wanting to photoshoot with multiple team members or employees, please discuss this with me ahead of time so we can choose the best package for your needs. I typically only work with small teams of 4 people or less.
Do you share raw images with clients or allow clients to choose which images are edited?
I don’t share raw images, and here’s why: part of my creative process is carefully selecting and editing the best shots that tell your story in the most beautiful way. Think of it like a chef preparing a meal—you get the finished dish, not the ingredients. I want you to have a polished gallery full of images that flow together seamlessly and truly represent my work at its best.
How far in advance should I book you?
Ideally 2-3 weeks before your desired session date so we have time to plan your vision, scout locations, and make sure everything feels intentional.
When should I expect to receive my Online photo album after our session?
This depends on the length of your session and the amount of photos we capture. Here are the time estimates for each of my photo packages:
Mini package (1 hour): 1-3 weeks.
Starter package (1.5 hours): 2-3 weeks.
Standard package (2 hours): 3-5 weeks.
Deluxe package (3 hours): 4-5 weeks.
I do always send sneak peek photos within a day or two after your photoshoot, so you have handful of images to use right away.
Do you travel to meet clients?
I currently only do photography sessions within the Twin Cities area. I have had brand clients travel to me from other states!
Do you photograph weddings, seniors, or other types of sessions?
Personal brand photography is my specialty! You’re always welcome to reach out about other sessions, but I do not photograph weddings at this time.
